As a leader in cardiac care, French Hospital Medical Center (FHMC) is offering a FREE 5-lecture series on how to live a heart healthy lifestyle. Valuable information will be provided for those who have a diagnosis of heart disease, those who have risk factors for heart disease, and/or those who just want to improve total body health.
The classes take place the second Tuesday of every month from 1 to 2 p.m. in the FHMC Auditorium. Classes are team-taught by registered dietitians, registered nurses, nurse practitioners, social workers, and exercise physiologists. They include lecture, hands-on participation and mild movement and stretching exercises.
Upcoming spring class dates are February 9, March 9, April 13, May 11, and June 1. Summer/ fall dates are July 13, August 10, September 14, October 12, and November 9.
