Every Mother is a Hero
French Hospital Medical Center believes that every mother is a hero and every baby is a miracle.
We promote the importance of family-centered care, which is why newborns are cared for at the mother's bedside by the same nurse who provides care for the mother. Our nurses are specially trained to tend to your every need, along with the comfort of having your birth experience take place in a private room.
At French Hospital Medical Center, our program of personal care is designed to keep your birth "family-focused" and intimate through the use of LDRP rooms (Labor, Delivery, Recovery and Post-Partum all in one room). Our intimate rooms make you feel comfortable and at ease during the birthing process.
To further enhance the comfort and well-being of our patients, construction will soon begin on the new Family Birthing Center. The center will be expanded to house additional private birthing rooms, a new family waiting area, upgraded nursing station with the latest technology, and a new c-section suite. The renovation is expected to be completed by the end of 2015.
The Family Birthing Center provides Childbirth and Parenting Education Programs. Educators specializing in all aspects of pregnancy, childbirth, infant care and safety will successfully guide you and your family through this amazing experience.
