The most important aspect of French Hospital Medical Center's 24 hour Emergency Department is the quality of patient care, the quality of our physicians and the quality of our nurses. All 12 E.D. physicians are Resident Trained Emergency Medicine Specialists. Our nurses are certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support, (BLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (ACLS) and Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC).
Ongoing monthly surveys conducted by the California Emergency Physicians group has consistently ranked French Hospital Medical Center's E.D. department's patient satisfaction scores, as the highest among 50 California Emergency Physician group sites. FHMC Emergency physicians are members of the California Emergency Physicians group.
The California Emergency Physician's group has also documented French Hospital's average "wait time to be seen" as less than 20 minutes.
